I prefer mine to be well-done rib-eye or sirloin. Usually tend to grill my steaks instead of cooking them in a pan as it tastes way better obviously. |

I usually go for medium, although I've gone off steak as of late. Not that I had it a lot in the first place, more of an occasional thing, but I hardly have it at all now. |

I prefer it medium rare but order it medium because most restaurants have no idea how to cook a steak correctly. |

I prefer medium rare. I do agree with OFG that a good number of places don't tend to agree with my interpretation of medium rare but I'd prefer to get a steak closer to rare than medium but somewhere in the middle is ideal for me. |

Rare or at most medium-rare. It's too tough for my liking once it's past that point. I like a little blood in my steak. |
